Park Youth FC
Park
Youth F. C.is a local community Youth Football Club based in the Bradley/Gwersyllt
area.
During the 2//8/09 season the Club registered children at under 11's. 14's
(boys and girls), 15's and 16's age groups. The Club is affiliated to the
Wrexham and District Youth Football League.
The
Club is extremely proud of the work its Committe and its supporters contribute
to the running and operation of the Club. The Club is also very grateful
of the financial support it has received from the Gwersyllt Community Council
over the past few years.
The funding received last year enabled the Club to organise and run a football
tournament which was staged at The Wauns recreation Ground, Bradley. Over
200 children particiapted in the event.
The photograph shows the Chairman of the Gwersyllt Community Council, Councillor
Mrs. June White and the Mayor of Wrexham, Councillor David Griffiths who
is also a Community Councillor, presenting the Community Council's cheque
for the funding of the tournament to to Dave Stait, the Manager of the Under
14's team at the Club's Presentation Evening. There is also a photograph
of Councillor Mrs. White and Joey Jones, another guest at the Presentation
Evening, preparing to present the winners trophies.
