Summerhill Girl Guides
We
meet on a Tuesday evening at Ysgol
Heulfan, between 6.30pm and 8.00pm.
We are always looking for new members, and are open to girls between the age of 10 and 15.
We are a very active group that likes to get involved within the community and also takes part in lots of guiding activities, working towards badges and Go For It's.
Most recently we were given a grant by the community council which allowed us to take the guides on a guide holiday to Prestatyn where we stayed for 3 nights.
We went swimming, on the beach and also did outdoor cooking on open fires. It was good fun and many new and useful skills were learned.
Coming
up we are taking part in an open day held by Vision Support helping to serve
refreshments, going to visit Nightingale House and attending a pop concert
just for guides at Wembley arena, London, again financed by the community
council.
