Rail
The
Wrexham to Bidston service (external link) operates a vital link between
North East Wales & Merseyside for passengers wishing to commute to work,
or to access the many interesting leisure attractions, including Wrexham
Football Club and one of the seven wonders of Wales - St Giles Church at
Wrexham. The diesel line also provides access to Hawarden, with Deiniols
Library and the former home of William Gladstone, and links to the Merseyrail
Electrics Network with regular connections to Birkenhead Shopping Centre
& markets as well as Liverpool (European Capital City of Culture 2008)
which hosts an excellent array of theatres. The shopping facilities of Liverpool
City Centre are within easy reach of Liverpool Central Station.
